These terms govern every tour booked with us, whether through this website, by email or by telephone. Please read them before you book — the booking confirmation refers to this version.
1. Scope and contracting party
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all tour bookings with Ahmed Wezza (‘we’, ‘us’), operating as Vienna Grand Tours. Differing conditions of the guest apply only if we have agreed to them in writing.
2. Our service
We provide private guided sightseeing tours of Vienna in vintage-style electric vehicles from our fleet (forest green, white or burgundy): Bronze (30 minutes), Silver (60 minutes), Gold (90 minutes) and Diamond (120 minutes), with live narration in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Portuguese or Turkish. Each car seats up to seven guests plus your guide; larger groups ride in multiple cars. Minimum three guests per booking. We assign cars from the fleet according to availability. Routes are indicative and may be adapted for traffic, road closures, events, weather or the guest’s wishes.
3. Booking and formation of contract
A booking request through the website, by email or by telephone is an offer by the guest. The contract comes into effect when we send a booking confirmation by email. Please check the confirmation immediately and tell us at once if anything is wrong. Guests must be at least 18 years old to book; minors ride in the care of an accompanying adult.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are per person, in euro, and are final. We operate as a small business under the Austrian Kleinunternehmerregelung and do not charge VAT: Bronze 30 minutes €25, Silver 1 hour €39, Gold 1.5 hours €49, Diamond 2 hours €69. The total is the per-person price multiplied by the number of guests, with a minimum of three. Payment is taken online at booking via SumUp’s secure checkout. Card details are collected by SumUp, not on this website. A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds.
5. Cancellation by the guest
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the agreed departure time are free of charge and refunded in full. Within 24 hours we will offer an alternative slot where we can; if none is possible, the full price may be retained. Cancellations must be made in writing to our email address or by telephone. Statutory rights of withdrawal for consumers remain unaffected where they apply; note that for leisure services tied to a specific date, § 18 (1) (10) FAGG excludes the 14-day right of withdrawal.
6. Late arrival and no-show
Please arrive five minutes before the agreed departure time. We wait up to 15 minutes; a later start shortens the tour accordingly and does not reduce the price. If the group does not appear at all and has not cancelled, the full price is due.
7. Cancellation by us, weather and force majeure
We drive in light rain. If weather conditions make the tour unsafe — storms, ice, strong wind, extreme heat — or if the vehicle, the guide or the roads make it impossible, we may cancel or shorten the tour. In that case you receive an alternative date or a refund of the price, or of the unridden portion, at your choice. Further claims are excluded unless we acted with intent or gross negligence.
8. Conduct during the tour
Guests follow the guide’s safety instructions and remain seated while the vehicle is moving. Children under 135 cm or 14 years must travel in a suitable child seat when one is required — tell us when booking and we will confirm what we can provide. Smoking, open flames and standing during travel are not permitted. We may refuse or end a tour without refund if a guest is intoxicated, endangers others or repeatedly disregards instructions.
9. Luggage and personal belongings
There is space beside the seats for day bags, cameras and a folded pram; we cannot carry suitcases. Guests are responsible for their own belongings during the tour. We are liable for lost or damaged items only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for personal injury and, otherwise, for intent and gross negligence. Liability for slight negligence is limited to the breach of essential contractual obligations and to damage typical of this type of contract and foreseeable at the time of contracting. This does not affect liability under the Austrian Product Liability Act or mandatory consumer protection provisions. The vehicle is insured as required by Austrian law.
11. Photographs and data
We photograph tours occasionally for our website and social media, and publish images showing guests only with their express consent, which you may withdraw at any time. Personal data is processed as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, the mandatory protective provisions and places of jurisdiction of their country of residence remain unaffected. For merchants, the competent court in Vienna has jurisdiction. Should any provision be invalid, the remainder of these terms stays in force.
